By inputting your images, shapes, and loved ones' names into the Book Art Pattern Maker, you can instantly generate a pattern. Conveniently store all your patterns in your iPhone's Documents folder for quick reference. With the iOS Book Art app, creating Measure, Mark, Fold patterns, Cut & Fold patterns, and Shadow Fold patterns has never been more effortless.

Simply tap 'Create document' and provide some basic information about the book you wish to fold. Beginners will find that Measure, Mark, Fold patterns work best with simple and solid images or shapes; hearts and names are ideal choices! Advanced Book Artists will be excited to explore the new Cut & Fold feature. Verify the preview to ensure the pattern has been correctly generated; make adjustments by adding or removing white spaces around your shape to maintain the aspect ratio if needed. Then follow the instructions: determine the distance from the top of the page and mark the corresponding 'start mark' and 'end mark.' You may use inches or centimeters, but remember to be consistent with your chosen unit throughout. At each mark, create creases and fold the corners of the page inward. Continue folding until you complete the pattern. Witnessing the pattern come to life page by page can be one of the most gratifying experiences.
